Location. The fact there is a Costa coffee shop just around the corner, serving cheap breakfast.

Internet connection. At £12 for 24 hours you'd expect a good connection. First the logistics - the cable runs from the TV; the TV is on the opposite side of the room to the desk. Thus, if you want to use the Internet at the desk, you have to balance the TV on a chair halfways across the room in order for the cable to reach... Then once you are finally online you'll realize that the ISP uses a crappy nameserver that redirects half your requests to wsearch.net. Several sites are blocked in this way. Only workaround is to force your laptop to use the openDNS IPs to bypass wsearch.net.
